Just because you rent doesn’t mean you don’t need home insurance.

Renters, or Tenant Homeowners, policies generally include coverage for improvements you make to the home or apartment you rent, coverage for your personal belongings, additional expenses you incur if you can’t live in your rental unit after a covered loss, personal liability and more. Personal liability includes damage to the unit you’re renting if caused by your own negligence. Renters insurance policies offer varying coverage limits and deductibles.
